  • Rachel-Miss Minnesota 2022

I have known and admired Autumn for many years and have been fortunate enough to work with her on my journey to winning Miss Minnesota, and I will continue to work with her into Miss America. We poured hours and hours into prep work, meeting weekly for many months, and messaging and updating throughout those weeks. My deep appreciation for Autumn stems from years of watching her build a career, life, and genuine passion that supports others in becoming the best versions of themselves.

Autumn will not try to change and mold into what she believes a titleholder to be, nor does she hold onto any preconceptions of the ‘perfect’ titleholder. Autumn will help you identify your strengths for the job, goals for your year of service, and help you craft the best version of yourself to present to the panel of judges. Through Autumn, I’ve identified the strengths that I bring to the job and honed in on the true reason why I want to win. Autumn and I created a plan for Miss Minnesota, and she was an integral part of my success.

Autumn has been my biggest cheerleader, supporter, and best guide throughout my preparation for Miss Minnesota. Autumn and I invested hours of effort into fine-tuning every competition phase and ensuring that the overall message hit the target. Without Autumn, I wouldn’t have had the necessary, unbiased support and outlook that I needed. Autumn is so much more than a coach, she was one of my largest supporters in the journey to the crown, and she’ll be yours too.

Autumn’s commitment to helping others is unparalleled to anyone I’ve ever worked with. I’ve watched her display that dedication as a local titleholder, as Miss South Dakota, on her journey to Miss America, and now as a mother, wife, and coach. Working with Autumn was integral, but knowing her and having her as a support has been and continues to be an honor. No one within the coaching industry I’ve encountered can offer the skills and services that Autumn possesses. The results she has yielded within her early coaching career and indicative of her future success, and I am grateful to be a part of that success with her.

  • Hunter-Miss South Dakota 2022

Autumn helped me with interview skills, social impact pitch slide and staging, wardrobe decisions, and talent. I worked with her for three months, meeting once a week to prepare for Miss South Dakota. I saw improvement in every area of competition while working with her.

I really wanted to feel confident in interview and onstage question, and Autumn helped me feel prepared for any question that I could have been asked. She also helped me make my social impact pitch direct yet impactful. Autumn is great at ensuring you address every detail of each portion of the competition. Details are so important because every point counts!

While working with Autumn, I gained a lot of confidence in what I had to offer as a Miss South Dakota candidate. She helped me say what I wanted to say in a precise yet powerful way. She also helped me with my body language and carriage.

I would recommend coaching with Autumn to anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort to fulfill a goal. I told Autumn on our first day working together that I wanted to feel confident walking into my interview and onstage question. She gave me the skills to succeed, but I had to put in the time and effort as well. She ensured I was staying on track and setting weekly goals.

This coaching experience was unique because it was personalized and focused on my individuals goals. I was not coached in the past, afraid it would cause me to lose my personal touch. However, Autumn ensured my personality shined through during my interview. She did not tell me “the right answer” but rather walked through each question I struggled with to understand my thinking and help me come up with a succinct answer. Just the process alone of talking through possible questions was so helpful.

Because of the fine tuning and confidence I gained through my coaching with Autumn, I was able to obtain my dream job of being Miss South Dakota 2022. Autumn is not just a coach; she is a mentor, role model, and friend. I’m forever grateful for Autumn’s help and guidance.

  • Kaitlin O’Neil, Miss South Dakota 2021

Let me just start by saying that before I started working with Autumn, I was afraid to speak on stage, was a nervous fast talker, a rambler, and was deathly afraid of the interview room. After only a couple of months of working with Autumn, I walked away not only as Miss South Dakota 2021 but also the TOP PRIVATE INTERVIEW WINNER and THE TOP ON STAGE QUESTION/ SII PITCH WINNER! I have said this to so many people andI will continue until the day I die, I never would have won the title of Miss South Dakota if it wasn't for Autumn's fantastic guidance and expertise!

My favorite thing about working with Autumn is that she pushes you in the best way. I felt challenged yet had this amazing hand to hold as I worked through those challenges which is not a combination easily met. Autumn helped me work through the things that were emotionally hard for me to talk about in the interview room, she helped me curate "my plan", she helped me find my opinion on pressing matters in the world by educating me with facts from both sides of the spectrum, she helped me find my brand, and she helped me find a new confidence I never knew I possessed!

If you are looking to work with someone who will truly care about you and your success/ growth, someone who is personable, and someone who cares beyond your zoom calls, Autumn is the girl you want! I have never felt more prepared, confident, and supported walking into an interview than when I worked with Autumn!

  • Amber Hulse-Miss South Dakota 2019/2020

Autumn and I worked together for three years leading up to when I won Miss South Dakota in 2019. She was hard on me, in a good way. One of the only coaches I've ever had who was willing to tell me what I needed to work on straight and ask the hard questions. There were no softballs, and it made me better, faster. My competition interviews were always SO EASY because of working with Autumn. She taught me not only how to answer QUESTIONS but how to guide and direct my entire INTERVIEW, so I could get the judges to ask me what I wanted to talk about. My confidence and ability to command the stage during onstage questions and in the interview room soared. I felt truly me, she never tried to get me to change my thoughts about any topic, but instead shaped the way I stated my opinion. I would recommend anyone who is competing to work with her, whether a veteran or a newbie. Everyone still has to polish and perfect before competing and Autumn truly is that polish. We spoke for an hour a week usually over the phone and then sent little notes back and forth of rough talking points. Overall, she had a large part in what pushed me over the top to earn the title. I have looked up to this woman since I was a little girl- it was an honor to work with her and follow in her footsteps. Forever grateful she was a part of my journey and I am so excited for any woman who also has Autumn in their corner along their own journeys to the crown.

  • Alayna Wilson- 1st Runner Up Miss Nebraska 2022

    [On Working with Autumn]

I felt more confidence in justifying my beliefs in regard to current events.

I saw myself prioritize my time in a better way while prepping for competition week.

I gained more awareness of my opinions and thoughts on a wide variety of topics.

My favorite part was the aspect that I was able to have open conversations with someone who is so knowledgeable about the world without her opinions swaying mine.

[Service Provided] The value of confidence- the most important aspect of all competitors. I was able to walk in with my head held high and the confidence I could answer any question with 100% honesty.

How long/frequency did you spend working with her?

Oddly enough, 3 weeks! She spent as much time as we needed to prepare me to feel confident walking into competition week!

What was unique about this coaching experience?

We did not just sit down and hammer out questions; we had open discussions that led to me formulating my own opinions and finding an eloquent and concise way to express myself.

[Would recommend this to] Anyone who wants to feel confident on stage with ANY question!!

I am proud to say that I placed 1st RU at the Miss Nebraska competition! Beyond the awards, I see a more confident version of myself that took the time to educate myself on a plethora of topics while forming opinions that I can justify and share with others.

  • Carly Goodhart- 1st Runner Up Miss South Dakota 2022

Autumn helped me immensely in my preparations for Miss South Dakota. I began working with her after I won my local title, which was 6 months before my state competition. She helped me set small goals (Winning Preliminary Onstage Question & Social Impact Pitch and winning the Miss SD Quality of Life and Sylvia Tannehill Kindness Scholarships) all of which I accomplished with her help along with placing 1st Runner Up. We scheduled weekly zoom meetings, 1-2 hours in length, where we would review state and national current events, social impact development, and practice interview questions in the form of mock interviews with question topics ranging from current events, to questions specific to who I am, what I do, and my story. Every single question I was asked in my state interview was something Autumn helped me develop a response to and I went in feeling completely prepared to handle any possible question. My favorite part about working with Autumn was she helped me refine MY beliefs and not her own or what the judges want to hear. My time working with Autumn helped me to be confident in who I am and what I stand for and how to put my best foot forward whether that be on the pageant stage or in the job interview room.

  • Miranda O’Bryan-4th Runner Up Miss South Dakota 2022

When I finally took the reins of my pageant preparation and asked for Autumn’s help, I had no idea the growth that could happen in just six months. Week after week, talent rehearsal after talent rehearsal, mock interview after mock interview; Autumn helped me from my thoughts and opinions, pick a talent song, vent about my day, stress over paperwork without ever batting an eye to what our session would bring. I think one of the best parts about working with her, and unmatched by other coaches, is her ability to help you be YOU. My opinion was always mine and she helped me form that into words without inserting her own. When we met in January, I set a handful of goals; make the top 5, win a prelim award, and apply for as many addition scholarships as I could. With her help, I reached EVERY single one of those and I genuinely believe continuing to work with her will help me earn my dream job, our state title. Whether you can dive in headfirst or can only do a few sessions, working with Autumn will not disappoint.
